Download and Installation

(Windows only, not Mac)
You may receive a warning from your system or anti-virus software. If so, just press "Accept" or "Yes" to continue the download.
If your system or virus protection refuses to let you download the INSTALL_EDITH.EXE program, then download the INSTALL_EDITH.zip version.
Once the Edith Install program has been downloaded, it needs to be run to install Edith on your computer. When the download is selected there will be a "File Download" dialog box stating "Do you want to open or save this file?" Click on the "Open" button and the file will download and run automatically.
The installation program will suggest the default folder for the Edith files. We recommend you use this default folder. The installation program installs Edith and Help in the folder, as well as a copy of the End-User License Agreement (EULA).
The installation process gives you the option of having icons: (1) on the Desktop, (2) in the Start/Programs menu, or (3) in the Start/Programs/Startup folder. You can choose any combination of these three locations. Note: If you DON'T create the Desktop icon, you will NOT have the capability of using the shortcut keys "<Ctrl><Alt> E" to instantly start Edith.
Finally, you must READ and ACCEPT the End-User License Agreement (EULA).
